Campbell County High School

The first semester was filled with vibrant learning experiences for our students to grow in their profile of a graduate traits! We also took time to celebrate their hard work and reward great attendance, grades, and behavior during our volleyball class tournament. We are excited for the second semester! Don't forget Campbell County Schools will resume January 5, 2026.

Tonight’s winter concert was a beautiful reminder of the talent, dedication, and pride our band students bring to our school. Their hard work and commitment shined in every note and created a memorable evening for our school community. Thank you to our students and directors for sharing this gift of music with us.

The first semester is wrapping up for our internship students. We are thankful for our partners that allow our students to learn valuable skills in the paths of IT, sales, electricity, childcare, health care, and more. These smiles show the excitement they have to participate in on the job training before they leave high school.

Thank you to our community partners that help us prepare students to be highly prepared for their destination after high school. Our internship and co-op partners provide work-experiences to students that they can build upon in their future careers. CCHS Human Body Systems students in the Biomedical Pathway explored NKU’s College of Health and Human Services. They were able to tour state-of-the-art facilities including a nursing lab, radiology lab, exercise science lab, and simulation lab. During the visit, students also heard about the healthcare programs NKU offers and interacted with medical equipment.  Thank you to Mr. Keating and Ms. Steffen for providing this opportunity for our future health care workers!

We are proud of our students, staff, and families as we work together to push student learning each and every day. CCHS is among the best in the area with increases in all subject areas tested! Way to go Camels!

✨ Congratulations to our October Students of the Month! ✨ Your standout critical thinking skills set you apart, and we are incredibly proud of your growth. As we move into November, CCHS is shining a spotlight on collaboration. Every Camel will continue developing all Profile of a Graduate traits and seniors showcase this growth through a transition defense presentation.

Junior Jumpstart 2025 was a great success! Students were given the opportunity to explore their futures through college and career experiences. From discovering their best college fit to hearing from industry professionals, students gained valuable insight as they plan for life after high school. Thank you to all the colleges and panelists who helped make this event possible.

Wishing our Band of Pride, safe travels and good luck at their national competition in Indianapolis! Desert Alchemy is a wonderful show and the best we've seen, good luck!

Mrs. Lechner took CCHS student leaders to the Teen LEADership Summit at NKU. This summit had guest speakers to help students unlock their confidence and learn to discover their leadership power. We are excited our student leaders to attend this event to unlock their leadership potential!

The Campbell County Education Foundation is hosting their first fundraising event!

Fundraisers held by the CCEF help fund:
• Scholarships for graduating seniors
• Classroom innovation grants for teachers
• Support for student activities and programs

CCHS Youth Service Center Coordinator, Sidney Miles, took students on a trip to the 2025 Northern Kentucky Youth Leadership Summit. Students had the chance to practice their leadership skills and spark change for good in our school and community.

The first choir concert of the year showcased our wonderful talent. Choir students are preparing for All State auditions this week and if they sing like they did tonight, we know they will do well!

Big day at CCHS! 💜🐪 Our Camel Way Mentors met their freshman groups for the first time today! These upperclassmen are ready to lead, guide, and show what Camel Pride looks like in action. We’re so proud of their leadership and energy!

We are so excited for the community to see this show! Students have been working hard over the past 6 weeks! We would love for our Campbell County Schools community to support our students, plus there's going to be a four-wheeled surprise outside the theatre for photo ops on Saturday!

We also encourage you to help us spread the word to our former CCTA alumni, who we would like to recognize prior to every show to honor their place in our CCTA history.
