Before the break, our Photography and VPA students took their learning beyond the classroom: exploring the city, capturing its beauty, and immersing themselves in the local arts scene! They returned with fresh inspiration and incredible pieces that we can't wait to see.

All month long, our Camels have been growing and showcasing their communication skills!

From research projects to small-group discussions, teamwork, peer collaboration, and writing activities, our students have been putting their communication skills into action every day. Today, they began celebrating that hard work by cashing in their Camel Pride cards. 🐪💜💛

We are so proud of the way our students are learning to share ideas, listen to others, and work together. Keep up the amazing work, Camels!

At CCHS, Period 1.5 gives every student the power to take ownership of their learning. Today showed just how wide those possibilities are:
🎓 College reps gave feedback on student applications
📚 Students presented projects and extended learning with historical events
💻 Others dove into binary numbers and census procedures of the 1800s
📝 Some studied for upcoming tests or got help correcting mistakes from class
🎯 ACT prep was offered for students preparing for college readiness
💬 Students even stretched their communication skills by holding conversations in Spanish

Whether it’s extending learning, preparing for the future, or getting the support needed to succeed, every student has the choice to use this time to grow. Teachers also have the chance to provide enrichment and extra guidance.

Parents—be on the lookout 👀 for a video message from Mrs. Phelps next week with more about how you can partner with us to ensure your child is achieving their best! 💜💛
