Our CCHS FBLA students took their learning on the road to Jungle Jim’s, where they explored real-world examples of marketing, international business, entrepreneurship, and customer experience through a guided tour and scavenger hunt!

This hands-on experience allowed students to connect classroom learning to business in action while gaining inspiration for future FBLA competitions and projects. These future business leaders were able to apply learning from the classroom to real world applications.

Safe travels and good luck to our Band of Pride as they attend BOA Regionals in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Little and Mr. Marotta have prepared this band to excel this weekend and the students have never been more prepared to bring home hardware from this competition!

It's an honor watching our talented choir students show off their skills and see students take the lead in directing. What a wonderful night!

According to KDE, CCHS is a green-rated school once again and our overall accountability score is the highest ever. We are incredibly proud of our students and staff whose hard work and dedication to excellence made this possible.

We are especially excited to celebrate our highest post-secondary readiness scores ever! Our students are discovering their destinations, setting meaningful goals, and gaining the skills and experiences to leave CCHS highly prepared for their futures.

Last week our photography students hit the streets and captured scenes around Cincinnati. Applying the skills they learn in class to bring learning to life!

Congratulations to Mr. Brett White and his all star nomination from a student and colleague! Mr. White teaches biology and AP biology. His nominations described him as caring and will do whatever is needed. Join us in celebrating M. Brett White!

Administrators and coaches joined AP US History classes to live score LEQs. Mr. Campbell's juniors knocked it out of the park with their content knowledge and writing skills! Students accepted feedback and quickly responded for improvement. These students are bright!

Students in our unmanned aircraft class took to the sky with their drones!

Students in the aerospace destination are able to take this course with the intention of earning their Federal Aviation Administration's Part 107 Remote Pilot license. We can't wait to see the skills they develop over the year and how they can utilize them in their future careers.

Our biomedical students saw a gallbladder removal using robotic laparoscopic surgery! Then, a panel of healthcare workers talked about their experiences in the healthcare field and answered questions from students about their respective career paths and education requirements. It was a great day, and students were so excited to get the opportunity to see such a clear view inside the human body!

DAAP came to speak with AP and Art 2 students about undergraduate programs within the College of Design Architecture Art and Playing at the University of Cincinnati. Students learned about the admissions process, requirements for the programs, and there was even some great information about ways that sophomores and juniors could prepare for the college application process and attend summer camps at DAAP before their senior year.

Student led learning was seen throughout the building this week! We saw collaboration with solving problems, ownership in leading annotations, collaboration towards a common goal, and peer feedback for improvement. Intentional learning opportunities are giving students the ability to practice their profile of a graduate traits and showcase their Leader in Me habits!

We are pleased to celebrate Sanjay Santosh as he received his certificate from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as a Commended Student! Sanjay is an talented and hard working student and deserves this recogniztion!

Our biomedical destination students learned about a variety of careers today at the NKY Heathcare Career Showcase. What a great opportunity to talk to professionals in the field!

The heat caused performances to be pushed back later but that didn't stop the band of Pride dominating their competition! Congrats!
