A big shout out goes to the numerous NaviGo Scholars CCHS had accepted this year! The NaviGo Scholars Program helps provide opportunities for students to become highly prepared for their destination beyond the instruction in the classroom. We are so proud of our students applying and working hard to achieve their goals!

Our first Leader in Me lesson kicked off in CLC on Monday! Students explored what it means to be a leader, identified leadership qualities they see in others, and began setting goals for themselves. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to watch our students grow as leaders, discover their strengths, and build the habits and skills that will help them become highly prepared for wherever their destination takes them. The journey has officially begun!

What a week of Camel Pride! Our community knows how to show up for our students, and we felt that support throughout Homecoming—from the parade to Friday night’s game. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Our crowning ceremony was also a great reminder of the many opportunities our students have to lead, connect, and get involved at CCHS. Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming Queen, Zoey Little, and runners-up Adalyn Bertsch and Madison Graul! We were also honored to welcome Dr. Wilson back to CCS as our Homecoming Grand Marshal. It was wonderful to have her back celebrating alongside our students, staff, and community. A great week to be a Camel!

Students are preparing for their destination at CCHS! Our Criminal Justice students received valuable firsthand insight into the world of law enforcement from our own SRO, Officer Begley, connecting what they’re learning in the classroom to careers in the field. Meanwhile, our Manufacturing program reached an exciting milestone as the first students got to try out our new FANUC robotic arm! This hands-on experience gives students exposure to the technology and skills used in today’s advanced manufacturing careers.

Our pep section and cheerleaders brought the Camel spirit last Friday! 💜💛 Now it’s time to keep that energy going as we get ready for our first home football game of the season!

Join us at Crossroads Kroger from 4–8 PM on Thursday, Aug. 27 for a Community Spirit Night! Stop by for a gaming van, giveaways, prizes, and more.

Come out, show your Camel Pride, and wish our football players and cheerleaders good luck before they take the field at home for the first time this season!

First day of 3C Club was today! 3C Club provides after-school support and fun community time with peers. If your student needs help with schoolwork or just wants to have time after school to complete work on their own, please consider signing up for 3C Club. 🎉 What a GREAT first full week! 🎉 Our students jumped right in—finding leadership opportunities, engaging in learning, building connections, and bringing plenty of smiles to our hallways and classrooms! This week, we also hosted our Club Fair, giving students the chance to explore the many ways they can get involved, connect with others, and find a place to belong at CCHS. And we’re just getting started! On Monday, all students will begin their Career Cluster CLCs, helping them explore interests, discover opportunities, and start thinking intentionally about their destination after high school.
