CC Theatre Arts presents Our Town! Purchase tickets here: https://cctheatrearts.org/winterproduction.
It's cold outside, but it's nice and warm in the theatre! Make plans to join us this weekend to support our talented CCTA students as they bring a classic play to the stage.
Thornton Wilder’s Our Town is a “deeply poignant play that explores the everyday, ordinary lives of the residents of the fictional town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire”. The play highlights the “beauty and fragility of human existence” and has been described as the greatest American play ever written. It was first performed on January 22, 1938 and received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama on May 2, 1938. With an average of 300 performances a year, Our Town is performed nearly every day in the United States and around the world.
In addition to supporting our students, we would love to honor our town's community members prior to each show.
Friday night we will honor our town's first responders and health care workers.
Saturday's matinee we will honor our town's educators including our wonderful bus drivers and cafeteria workers.
Saturday night we will honor our town's local businesses.
Please invite your friends and fellow community members to see this deeply meaningful show.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online and are sold as GENERAL ADMISSION for this show. Those groups who are honored prior to each performance, must show their credentials to purchase a discount ticket and be entered in a drawing for TWO free tickets to our spring musical, Seussical (April 30-May 2).
Please consider attending and showing support for our wonderful students as we present Thornton Wilder's Our Town to our town of Alexandria.
Won't you make the time and help pack the theatre in support of our amazing students?

Our academic team excelled in today's District Governor's Cup competition. They dominated and all students qualified for regionals. The academic team is led by Mr. Christopher Manker, who scored the winning point as a student to start their 30 year consecutive 1st place finish in quick recall. Congratulations and good luck in the next round of the Governor's Cup.
